Tauntons College - Payment Portal
If you are a current
student of the College you can sign up for and pay for places on
Trips, Events and Goods listed on the Portal. You (the student) must register as a customer before you can
make a purchase. You only have to do this once.
This Portal is for current
students of the College to sign up for and pay for places on Trips, Events
and Goods.
If you
are not a current student of the College please do not order items. Be warned that you will not receive any of the products or
any benefits of them.
Purchasing: It operates like most Internet eShops.
You select your trip and add it to a shopping basket. You are then
transferred to a secure PayPal site for payment. If you have a PayPal
account you can use this if you wish. Otherwise you can pay by debit or
credit card on the PayPal site. The College will not be given access to
your card details.
Paying: Alternatively someone else, such as a
parent, can make the payment for you. In this case it is important that
you enter your name in the customer details and delivery "address". The
person paying will enter their details in the PayPal pages.
Your
details: We do
not ask you for your actual address because nothing is going to be
delivered to you at home. Instead, we ask for your name, your date of
birth (so that we can distinguish between two students with similar names)
and your gender (so that we can quickly see the gender balance on each
trip).
Availability: For trips, places are available as
long as the Portal indicates that the item is "in stock". Once all the
places have been taken it will show "No more available" and you will not
be able to make the purchase.
