Taunton’s College is celebrating another year of great results. Well done to them and to our colleagues in primary and secondary schools who worked so hard with these students before they came to us.
These outstanding achievements add to those already celebrated with our International Baccaulaureate (IB) students in July. We pride ourselves in the work we to do motivate students and encourage them to aim high. A Level headlines: Outstanding achievements. Another great year. The provisional overall pass rate for A Level was 97%, in line with national averages, with 24 subjects achieving 100% pass rate. Many of our Sixth Form Academy students achieved an A* grade, some in multiple subjects. 90% of our IB students achieved the equivalent of 3 or more As and A*s at A Level. These are all outstanding individual achievements, and many students have now secured their places at the most selective universities, including four students who will be going to Oxbridge.
